About Overcut

Overcut is a sim racing telemetry and lap analysis platform, operated at overcut.gg since May 2026.

Who operates Overcut

Overcut is led by Felipe Martins and operated from Poland. It has its own codebase, infrastructure and accounts, and is not a subsidiary, rebrand, or continuation of any other product.

Questions about the company, the product, or this page are welcome at hello@overcut.gg.

How to verify this

Dates on a company's own page are worth little on their own. These are the independent records they come from. Overcut controls none of them.

GitHub organisation record Returns the creation timestamp of the overcut-gg organisation, as recorded by GitHub.
Certificate Transparency log Lists every TLS certificate ever issued for overcut.gg, with the date each one was logged.
Domain registration A WHOIS lookup of overcut.gg returns the date the domain was registered.

Supported simulators

Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC): Windows shared memory. Gran Turismo 7 (GT7): PS5 UDP broadcast on your local network. Automobilista 2 (AMS2): Windows shared memory or UDP. iRacing: iRacing SDK shared memory. More simulators are in build: Le Mans Ultimate, rFactor 2 and Assetto Corsa. Overcut uses a game-agnostic telemetry model, so adding a simulator does not change the product you already use.

How Overcut works

The Overcut Connector runs on the same Windows PC as your simulator and processes telemetry locally. Raw telemetry frames stay on your machine. Cloud features are opt-in and operate on lap summaries and metadata, never on raw frames.

About the name

Is Overcut related to any other product that has used this name?

No. Overcut has operated under this name since April 2026, with its own codebase, accounts and infrastructure, and has never been known by any other name.

The word has been used by unrelated projects, including a Formula 1 companion app, a mobile game studio, a racing game concept at overcut.racing, and a sim racing tool that was renamed Lapmetry in August 2026. None of them share ownership, code, data or operators with Overcut.

An overcut is also a standard motorsport strategy: staying out longer than a rival before pitting, and taking the position on pace instead of on track.
